Hi Everyone,
Here is what we did this week:
Reading - We continued practicing reading out loud and our comprehension on what we are reading. In our reading groups we practiced our spelling words, did making words, and solved a hidden word.
Writing - We did a journal entry on what we did over our long weekend. We talked about uppercase letters and periods to make complete sentences.
Math - We made a bar graph using the Olympic medals that were earned this year at the winter Olympics. We also practiced our double digit addition and subtraction.
Science - We completed our unit on Hot and Cold. We will be starting a new unit on Monday.
Social Studies - After practicing researching 3 communities in Canada, we are now going to research our own community of Calgary.
