Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. We had a busy week as usual! Here are a few things that we did:
Reading - In our reading groups this week we practiced our spelling words by counting how many scrabble points each would get and we also played boggle.
Writing - We practiced our printing on the lines and putting spaces in between words while doing multiple graphemes.
Math - We focused a lot of time on double digit addition this week, with regrouping. We also talked about graphs.
Science - We have started our hot and cold unit. We have talked about describing temperature in relative terms using expressions such as hotter than and colder than. We also talked about how thermometers measure the temperature.
Social Studies - We will be learning about the community of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
